[GUIDE]A WoW Gold Hunter’s Introduction to the Darkmoon Faire
The Darkmoon Faire is one of World of Warcraft’s long running and recurring events. Many clever WoW gold hunters can make money through it by knowing what activities it offers to players. With this information you can know when players will want to buy WoW gold. Of course, it can also help you get rare items from the faire.
Catching the faire for WoW gold
The Darkmoon Faire hosts a curious menagerie of creatures and objects many would find strange and mysterious even by World of Warcraft’s standards. It also holds many activities, dailies and challenges players can complete for a variety of rewards. In fact, some trinkets unique to the event are considerably powerful and are sought after by players. This is why knowing the faire is around is critical.
The faire is only accessible through portals near Thunder Bluff and Goldshire. These portals only appear however starting the first Sunday of each month. The portals remain open until the end of the week. During this period, players can complete the quests offered by the faire’s NPCs. As such, this is a good time to sell goods needed for these quests.
Things to do for WoW gold and items
Items in the faire are almost always bought using Darkmoon Prize Tickets. These in turn are obtained through quests. The primary of which is The Darkmoon Faire. This one-time quest introduces WoW gold hunters to the faire. Daily quests that can be done include Tonk Commander, The Humanoid Cannonball, Target: Turtle, It’s Hammer Time and He Shoots, He Scores!
Players who invested in their professions can also perform a quest related to their trade once a week. Quests for their primary profession reward players with four Darkmoon Prize Tickets, while secondary ones give three.
Items for WoW gold hunters
The Darkmoon Faire is often frequented by players for the items that can be earned there. One of the more popular items are sets of Replica Armor. While these offer inferior statistics compared to other gear of their level, it allows players to look similar to various NPCs in the game. Pieces of Replica Armor cost either 55 or 75 Darkmoon Prize Tickets.
The faire also rewards players with pets and mounts unique to it. The Darkmoon Dancing Bear and Swift Forest Strider are mounts unique to the event. Both cost 180 tickets each. Pets can also be obtained for 90 tickets each. These include Darkmoon Monkeys, cubs, turtles, balloons, tonks and zeppelins.
