It’s no secret that it’s stupidly difficult to make WoW gold in World of Warcraft, at least for the casual money-making player. Now, I mean casual in the sense of having the know-how and drive to just be filthy rich and swimming in WoW gold. I heard that there are players that are just absolutely capped out on gold due to their length of time playing the game and simply knowing how to play the auction house.

Unfortunately, most of us are plebs and don’t really see anything past 10k WoW gold, at least in the North American realms. There are also those that choose to buy WoW gold instead of working for it, but we plebeian WoW market players aren’t exactly too keen on shelling out real money for WoW gold, especially if our sole reason to farm for said currency is to buy WoW tokens to get free game time.

Fortunately, since the Legion pre-patch and the pre-launch content update, there have been tons of new WoW gold making guides surfacing. While farming old content isn’t exactly a newly uncovered secret, there are certain spots that elude people and can be surprisingly profitable.

The video below, from Rag Tagg on YouTube, highlights this small and nightmare-inducing spot for those that played through Mists of Pandaria’s Timeless Isle.

WoW Gold Farming: Oh, God, Not the Frogs!

Yes, these poisonous amphibians are key to making a decent amount of WoW gold per hour to help you out on keeping up your subscription. The only thing I don’t like about this method is that half of the income relies on how well pets sell on your server/realm and how populated it is. So I don’t really count in the extra 4k made from selling WoW pets, but I’m really looking more on the side of simply vending the items you pick up, give or take a few materials like Motes of Harmony that you want to keep for crafting purposes or maybe even sell at the Auction House if you know how well they go for.

Regardless, if you’re sick of running old raids and instances, and would like to party up with 4 other people for an ultimate farming experience, this may just be the best method to do so. So stock up on those WoW tokens because Legion’s coming up fast at the end of the month.
